Along with that NSP has a vision to provide a Simplified, Accountable, Mission-oriented, Responsive & Transparent ‘SMART’ System for faster & effective disposal of Scholarships applications and delivery of funds directly into beneficiaries account without any leakages!

The main mission behind the launching of NSP under the National e-Governance is to provide a common digital window portal for implementing various Scholarships schemes launched by State Government, Union Government, and Union Territories across India
NSP Scholarship Schemes for Students
Are you a student and dreamt to become an Engineer or Doctor but don’t have enough money to pursue it? Then NSP is the common digital window portal is there to help you out and remove the headache of money from your brain o that you can only focus on our study. NSP has categorized the schemes into three categories say Central Schemes, AICTE/UGC Schemes, and State Schemes.
NSP – Central Schemes
Central Schemes is one of the parts of NSP National Scholarship Schemes or you can say under NSP Schemes. Under these schemes student can benefit from the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Department of Higher Education, RPF/RPSF, Ministry of Railways and others. Application program for all the Central Schemes start at the month of July & August which remiain till the month October & November. For the academic year 2020-21, Deadline of application process for central schemes on NSP Portal was 31st December 2020. However, it has been extended till 20th January 2021 (only for Post-Matric/MCM/Top-Class schemes)
NSP – State Schemes
students who want to check the state schemes need to visit the official website scholarships.gov.in. Take your cursor to the State Schemes section. Where you able to find your respective state. These scholarships contain both centrally-sponsored and state-sponsored scholarships. The difference between the centrally-sponsored and state-sponsored scholarship is centrally-sponsored scholarships are offered by the central government and implemented by different states whereas the state-sponsored schemes are both offered and implemented by the state government itself. Schemes availability states are Arunachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Assam, Dadra Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Jammu Kashmir, Manipur, Puducherry, Tripura, and Uttarakhand!
NSP – UGC/AICTE Schemes
Along with the State and Central based Schemes the NSP – National Scholarship Portal also provide scholarship offered by the University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education. Some of the program under the University Grants Commission which is recently closed are ISHAN UDAY – Special Scholarship Scheme For North Eastern Region, Pg Scholarship For University Rank Holders(Ist And Iind Rank Holders), Pg Indira Gandhi Scholarship For Single Girl Child, Pg Scholarship Scheme For Sc St Students For Pursuing Professional Courses,
Also under All India Council for Technical Education – AICTE some of the programs recently closed are Pragati Scholarship Scheme For Girl Students ( Technical Degree), Pragati Scholarship Scheme For Girl Students ( Technical Diploma), Saksham Scholarship Scheme For Specially Abled Student ( Technical Degree), Saksham Scholarship Scheme For Specially Abled Student ( Technical Diploma) etc
